How is Seraph Lab founded?

Seraph Lab was founded in 2019 at the start of COVID-19 pandemic by Edison Tan in Singapore. Originally, Seraph Lab was focused on watch customization and ad-hoc servicing and repairs but quickly expanded to watch design and creation.

In Aug 2023, the first design for the case and dial for Triple Date Moonphase watch was created. Technical drawing and tooling was started 2 months later. The first 10 commercial prototype was ready in end 2024 after several iterations and improvement. With the help of existing client base supporting Edison's endeavor, he was successful in creating his first modern interpretation neo-vintage triple date moonphase automatic watch accessible for the masses.

Seraph Lab goal is to continue in experimenting and bringing forth vintage timepieces marvel with modern interpretations. Edison is an avid collector and have been strongly influenced by the vintage timepieces handed to him by his dad. In his free time, he enjoys learning about various vintage movement and its complications and always on a lookout for damage vintage pieces he can restore. He gained skills from years in crafting/servicing and have been trained by experienced retired watchmakers in Chinatown by spending his weekend sitting in the workshop.
